I like to pair dressy items with our fabulous graphic tees; overall I veer towards glam vs casual. Our tees are easy to pair with denim or denim shorts for everyday, but wanted to show how a pretty skirt and some glam earrings makes it easy to wear out at night.
Yes Way Rose Tee | Milly Feather Skirt (b/w version, budget here and here) | Valentino Rockstud Pumps | Blue Crystal Wing Earrings | Natural Stone Bracelet Stack
If wearing it with a feather skirt is a bit too much, I love it also paired with a pencil skirt and some simple pumps, with a jacket for work wear and add some jewelry for extra style.
Developing clothing and working on graphics has definitely been a different process than designing and buying jewelry. It’s been exciting to get back into apparel (as I worked in fashion merchandising in apparel for 8 years), developing clothing is much more difficult a process with fits, labels, and sampling. Seeing the final product is amazing and I hope you love them as much as we do! Would love to hear what you think about our new skirts and tees. Happy Wednesday!
Our latest designs have finally hit t+j Designs and it’s not jewelry this time, it’s skirts! Tiff and Jen have been working hard on their skirt line for a little bit now and we are beyond ecstatic to finally be sharing them with you all. Our first love will always be jewelry but fashion is in our blood and to be able to get into apparel is a dream of ours. We couldn’t be happier with the small collection that we’ve put together.
To celebrate the launch we wanted to share ways that we style the Sheer Windowpane Skirt. If you’re a reader of Red Soles and Red Wine and I am Style-ish, you’ll know that Jen and Tiff have different styles but the great thing about our skirts is that they can be worn in so many various ways.

I know it’s the middle of summer right now but fall is my favorite season and since fall comes much sooner in Seattle than in most cities I wanted to show how I would style the skirt in a summer to fall transition look. I’m a huge fan of mixing patterns and although it’s a bit of a risky trend as it can look too much all at once, one rule of thumb that I like to stick to is to keep the patterns in the same color scheme. I’m rarely in black and white as I love my pops of colors but I really wanted the patterns to stand out in my outfit so kept everything quite neutral including my nude cap toe pumps and our crystal necklace (part of our fall collection and will be on the site soon!).

I’m loving our double layer skirt with a simple cropped top and layering my look with neon yellow accents and accessories. It’s easy to wear this during day (with a denim jacket) to work and than head out at night by layering on the bracelets and rings for a bit of bling. White is so fresh for summer, but I love that this skirt is easily worn for fall by layering in a blazer like my sis.
What do you think about our first collection of skirts? We are both so excited to launch them and hope you love them too.
*Size tips: The skirt has an elastic waistband and fits well on both of us. Jen is 5’5″ and typically a size 2/4, Tiff is 5’2 and typically a size 0/2. Skirt will fit sizes 0-6.
Jen and I love to work but we love to play too! We wanted to share a few favorite things that we’ve been up to this summer. If you follow us on instagram you may have seen a few of these and if you don’t yet, feel free to join us over there as well! @redsolesandredwine and @tiffanyish.
