The Pub Crawl goes down Clark Street, in the heart of Wrigleyville, celebrating Mardi Gras at 18 bars. Guests are invited to dress the occasion for a chance to win prizes, and there are drink and food specials at all participating pubs.
Check out their Facebook page here and the ticket page here (which has all the details!). Tickets are only $20 and thousands come out to enjoy the party.
Our friends at Lyft are bringing in a 10×10 tent, which doubles as a black light photo booth, where you can jump in with friends to enjoy a photo-montage in black light, glowing in the dark, dancing around with your beads and print to keep. They will be at Deuces and The Diamond Club from 3 – 7pm. Don’t forget to Lyft here and there to be safe.
Be safe, have fun and happy almost weekend!
I love looking at other bloggers for inspiration and I found these two looks easy to replicate on a budget. Walk in Wonderland blogger wore this adorable heart printed shirt topped with a navy blazer, black skinnies and the pop of red in the bag. Get the look on a budget below; the top is $30, blazer is under $100, denim is around $60 and the bag is $120.

Blair from Atlantic-Pacific is one of my favorite style masters. I love her mix of plaid with the red skirt. The plaid coat I found is $76, the skirt is one of our designs which is bestseller and the shoes are under $100. I have a pair of red pumps and you would be surprised how often I wear them!

I am always looking at affordable ways to mix up my wardrobe as well as inspiration for t+j Designs. It is our goal to provide head to toe affordable looks for our customers. Any ways you mix up your wardrobe or places you shop that don’t break the bank?
We’ve got a lot of new and fun things for our business for 2015 that I’m very excited about. We’ve hired new members to our team, we also had a new little addition as our office manager had a baby in January that we are so excited to meet! We’ve also launched Gem La La, our new tote and jewelry sets, and then Jen and I are working on lots of new clothing, accessories and just taking our business in some different directions. Don’t worry we are not changing anything about t+j Designs! We still love what we do and our business, we are just working on some new things to improve and expand our business.
I know it’s only February but I’ve just got a really good feeling about 2015 and I’m so excited for what’s to come. I’ve always been a person with lots of ideas. It’s so nice to have a job where I can take those ideas and make them happen. My sister and I constantly have ideas swirling around and once we agree upon something it doesn’t take long for us to run with it. Thank you also to you guys who have been along with us on this journey. Running a business is tough and we couldn’t do it without the support of our friends, family, customers, followers and fans. Jen and I are so appreciative of your support.
Hope you have a happy Friday and a wonderful weekend!
