Hair Inspiration

We recently launched a collection of crystal hair pieces and have been wearing them quite often! Typically I think we all tend to save items like these for special events, but we’ve found that they are perfect to add a touch of sparkle to day looks as well! They instantly make you look put together with minimal effort. With so many gorgeous pieces to choose from, we thought it would be fun to switch things up and do a beauty inspired post to share some hairstyles that would look great with each piece and how we styled the pieces from our Wedding Collection look book.

1. Crystal Bow Hair Comb: We styled it tucked into a gorgeous fishtail braid!

We also would love it as an accent to a top knot, on the opposite side of a dramatic side part, or placed with beachy waves for a day look.

2. Luxe Double Chain Crystal Comb: This double chain styled laid perfectly across braids and long curls

We also love the idea of draping it along a low bun, behind twisted braids, or simply strung along the back of sleek, straight hair.

3. Luxe Crystal Headband: This gorgeous crystal embellished headband with bow tie back looks great with an effortless bun style.

hair-3We also can’t wait to try it with a voluminous pony tail, across the forehead for a bohemian vibe, and paired with a loose braid for a soft, romantic feel.

Mini Fashionista Style It: Pom Pom Necklace

When I was pregnant with my daughter, I wondered if she’d be a girly girl or since she’s surrounded by all boy cousins if she might become more tomboy.  She’s almost two so I’m sure things will change but as of now she’s more girly girl than I could ever imagine!  I never steered her in either way as I’ve always let her play with whatever toys she wanted but she’s always loved anything pink, purple, sparkly and girly.  I definitely have fun with this, being a girly girl myself and she and I often play dress up together and play with mommy’s jewelry.  Being that my home office holds a sample of almost each piece of jewelry we’ve ever had in our line, my daughter walks in there and wants to touch and see every piece!

My friend Sharon, who is an amazing designer, made me this dress and as a surprise made a matching one for Layla!  I love them so much that I knew we had to do a photo shoot together.  We put on our matching dresses and added our pom pom necklaces to top it off!  Just goes to show that you can share our jewelry with kids of all ages!

Style It: Retail Therapist Tee

All of us here at Tiff+Jen love a good graphic tee, but no one from the team loves them as much as Hope. Whether you’re throwing one on for a casual daytime look or pairing one with a fun skirt for date night, graphic tees are a closet staple. Here Hope shows how she styled our popular new Retail Therapist Tee.

Paired with our Resin Blue Druzy Tassel Necklace and a simple sweater, this is a perfect look for a workday lunch or a casual bike ride through the city (high heels definitely NOT recommended! :P)

How perfect are these limited edition J Brand jeans she’s wearing? She scored them for only $30 after some old fashioned deal finding luck!
